About Andre Kruger
Andre Kruger is a highly experienced business, corporate and investment banker, credit specialist and infrastructure financier, whose expertise extends to the development and management of Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs). Andre’s track-record has been enhanced by his national and international technical and advisory work, including his role as Head Trainer for an internationally-accredited training organisation that delivers Certified PPP Professional (CP3P) courses.
A regular speaker and trainer at conferences and business schools, Andre has conceptualised, developed and delivered PPP short courses, workshops and training events, with specific focus on Export Credit Finance and long-term integrated capital planning.
Andre’s career as a banker with government clients gained him in-depth knowledge and understanding of the financial operations and obligations of utilities, development corporations and government departments, across a variety of nation state operations. He assisted clients in capital planning, consideration of ‘major project’ procurement alternatives (i.e., PPPs), and blended funding options.
In addition, Andre has achieved academic profile as a lecturer at the University of Pretoria-Gibbs Business School and the Stellenbosch Business School.
Andre specialised in infrastructure finance and public-private partnerships, and is an ardent proponent of increased private sector participation in government services to enhance service delivery.
